In keeping with the children-friendly Budget, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit announced 14,000 vacancies for the teaching staff in government schools — the largest job opening in government sector in a long time. The move is aimed at complementing Delhi government’s efforts towards increasing infrastructure for implementation of the Right to Education Act.
