Gender diversity at top tier posts in Indian companies is facing a huge setback in India as against foreign counterparts. Only 5% of women exist in the top 100 posts. As per a survey of 55 Indian companies, only 11% said that they have more than 30% women in the top 100 positions. 3% recognized a gender bias in their companies for a woman’s advancement. While 19% said that they women candidates are a non-traditional choice and pose risk in their roles.14% companies have said that women lack in their leadership style and do not sponsor themselves for promotions.
