With 56,800 jobs created, Noida and Greater Noida have contributed to 87% of the all the jobs created in UP in 2012.
With 56,800 jobs created, Noida and Greater Noida have contributed to 87% of the all the jobs created in UP in 2012. This is followed by Lucknow creating 4700 jobs, Kanpur with 1600 new jobs, Agra 1300, Allahbad 1100 and Aligarh about 550 jobs. This estimate has been arrived at by the industry body ASSOCHAM. The overall job creating has seen a decline to 21%, while for UP it is 12.5%. Overall 5.3 lakh jobs were created in 2012.
