About 30000 IT jobs to be created in Odhisa the next 2 years - November 5, 2012

IT minister M.S. Padhi has estimated that 30000 jobs may be created in the IT sector of Odhisa with Infosys setting up a Info Valley campus and TCS and WIPRO increasing their workforce in their Bhubaneshwar Centers.

Padhi has estimated that 30000 jobs may be created in the IT sector of Odhisa with Infosys setting up a Info Valley campus and TCS and WIPRO increasing their workforce in their Bhubaneshwar Centers. Small scale IT industries have also reportedly expressed the desire to run operations in the state. Padhi said that small sector IT companies will be encouraged by being given temporary accommodation in Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC). The government is also additionally planning to further the out reach of IT services in Odhisa’s rural areas.
