Companies offer special schemes to lure Indian women - March 9, 2011

Companies like Infosys, Google etc. offers schemes like extended maternity leave, taxis on hire and enhanced training to its female employees to help them in maintaining a work-life balance. Initiatives like these have helped Infosys to boost the percentage of female workers returning after childbirth to about 88 percent from about a third in 2006.
