Going with the logic that a 2 month internship[p reflects more about a candidate than a short-loved interview, companies such as McKinsey, Cummins, Standard Chartered, RPG, BCG India and others are opting to hire through Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) rather than interviews. Offers through PPOs have risen recently and almost all the companies mentioned above plan to increase the number of PPOs replacing campus placements.
