13-Sept-2012 - Citing studies that support the hypothesis that greater participation of women at board level leads to a company’s better financial performance, Corporate Affairs Minister Veerappan Moily urged for gender diversity in top management positions.

Citing studies that support the hypothesis that greater participation of women at board level leads to a company’s better financial performance, Corporate Affairs Minister Veerappan Moily urged for gender diversity in top management positions. He referred to the studies done in this area, saying that women bring about better organisational and financial performance. He added that they are instrumental in decision making process by providing “deeper insights in economic behavior and consumer choices”.
