A study by Indian Staffin Firm has projected the flexiworkforce to increase to 9 million within 2025. The study has discussed the dearth of labour laws and norms in this direction suggesting that India should begin by ratification in ILO Convention 181. The report also directs that flexistaff will consist of lower level employees like, data operations, accounts, sales, back-end operations, marketing and administration.
