Employers also gain benefit from reduced cost of lesser office space and willingness of employees to give up perks and benefits in favour of the convenience from working from home. Many banks such as Standard Chartered, Citigroup, HSBC and DBS have introduced this flexiplace working strategy. Along with providing this benefit, HSBC also gives employees the option of flexible working hours given that a minimum number of hours are dedicated and that the employee finishes the work.
