Minister of State for Food Processing Industries (FPI)) Harish Rawat said that in the wake of shortage of trained manpower in the food processing industry, the government has roped in top institutions like IITs, ICAR and CSIR to train about 5 lakh additional manpower in the food processing sector in the near future.
