Almost all industries have experienced higher amount of attrition as the job scenario has lately picked up. The overall attrition rate has gone as high as 21% within the months of July-Sept, 2012. As per a survey by MyHiringClub.com attrition rates are likely to further rise and companies have attributed better pays as a reason for most leaving current jobs for another. Among cities, Bangalore’s attrition rate has been the highest at19%, followed by Delhi/NCR 17% and Mumbai 16%. Chennai experienced a 14% attrition rate in the second quarter, followed by Hyderabad at 12% and Kolkata at 11%.
