In all IIMs students are encouraged to fill challenging positions in startups if not an entrepreneurial venture. This is being reflected in many students’ choices for placements. For instance 30% of IIM Indore graduates wish to join startups while 3 students have opted out of placements in IIM Lucknow. Other IIMs are yet to share data, given ongoing placements.
