Regardless of a mixed hiring sentiment in the job market, the overall job speak index has dipped for three months consecutively. This trend is mostly attributed to a cautious approach that companies especially in Auto, Pharma, oil & gas, telecom and hospitality sectors have taken all this while. Construction sector that was worst hit, picked up pace in hiring by 11% in September, though IT and BPO have experienced lower hiring witnessing dips of 3% and 4% respectively in September.
