India’s flagship program for training drop-outs with employability skills, Indian Training Institute (ITI) has failed to issue certificates, in some cases for 30-50 years.

India’s flagship program for training drop-outs with employability skills, Indian Training Institute (ITI) has failed to issue certificates, in some cases for 30-50 years. This was reported by a labour ministry official. ITI is run in conjunction with state and union government and provide skills to electricians, turners, fitters, welders, etc. And those who finish training have to end up waiting months for certificates.
