Faced with human resource crunch public sector banks are planning to hire about 45,000 personnel during 2011-12 to meet workforce requirement. "Approximately 45,000 officers and staff would be recruited by (nationalized) banks this year," Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) director, M Balachandran told media.
