Tata Consultancy Services(TCS) had projected that it would employ about 50000 employees within a financial year and it has already employed 24000. It plans to employ a 1000 more, all of who will join TCS in 2013-14 year. The attrition rate has plummeted to 9.3%, the utilization rate is at 81.7% while 72.1% of trainees. There is scope for increasing the utilization rate according to the HR heads, however they are comfortable in the range of 81-83%.
