In a study by MIT, predictions warn that increased efficiency caused from technology and machines may lead to loss of jobs that can be done with increased efficiency with the help of technology. After the global recession’s loss of 3.5 million jobs, only 2% have been regained, of which 29% pay well while 70% pay low. Standard and Poor reported 33% more profit due to technology and while they have expanded, they have also downsized their labour by half a million.
