UPA warns employees of the consequences of participation in the scheduled general strike - February 18, 2013

Department of Personnel and Training, in a letter to all ministries has instructed them to not sanction any leave to employees and report those employees who participate in the All India Trade Union Strike scheduled this Wednesday.

Department of Personnel and Training, in a letter to all ministries has instructed them to not sanction any leave to employees and report those employees who participate in the All India Trade Union Strike scheduled this Wednesday. This they say would violate Rule of Central Civil Services Conduct Rules, 1964. Those employees to break away from expected conduct and prescribed rules may have to bear disciplinary action and/or deduction in wages.
