A project called “Happy Landings” is one of the HR initiatives by Indian Air Force (IAF) to resettle officers after they retire. The centre is an effort established with CII and will train to provide skills for sectors such as Aviation, Telecom and IT and Defence Production. IAF personnel retire at a very early age, within 20 years of experience. Their disciplined conduct and wrought skills can be productively used in the Indian commercial sectors.
