The CA topper last year is presently a partner at B Chhawchharia Company and earns 12 lakhs a year, while the topper this year can earn anything between 3 lakhs-24 lakhs/annum. On the other hand an IIM graduate can earn anything between 12-25 lakhs per annum and there are the are cases where they break the threshold earn as much as 1 crore per annum. Though management and finance-auditing profiles cannot be compared and that CAs end up earning more later with more experience, the stats show that managerial fields are more lucrative.
