Many Indian companies are hiring interns globally for many reasons, including, betterment of position, understanding different cultures, reaching target customers spread across the world. This trend began in the IT sector and is now spreading to other sectors. Interns have been hired from countries like Brazil, Turkey, Czech Republic, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Mexico and Germany. The approach developed by some is to hire them in risk free projects so that other Indian employees can understand cultures and economies of different countries. Some companies also form alliances with reputed institutes.
