Manpower study says India’s labour more relevant than China - January 28, 2013

India’s labour force is ahead of China in terms of literacy and motivation amongst youth. Migration from rural to urban areas is a big challenge according to Manpower as well as the certain uncertainty to be faced in future over the economic situation. Manpower Group President David Arkless said that India should concentrate on realizing future skill and talent needs and train its youth accordingly. He noted that there is a lot of discrepancy in education and the jobs later taken up by Indians. According to him, that should be synchronized.
