Those hired just out of campus placements tend to stick to their jobs for a shorter duration and a major chunk of this group leaves the job within 6 months. This has been highly attributed to increasing opportunities, plans for higher education abroad, relocation issues, rush to earn quickly and current structure of the job market. The attrition rate among this group of new recruits is as high as 40%.
