07-Sept-2012 - The Punjab government has declared that employees soon retiring need not seek clearance from State vigilance bureau to seek pension.

The Punjab government has declared that employees soon retiring need not seek clearance from State vigilance bureau to seek pension. The government has asked administrative departments to issue out clearance certificates to group A and B employees and all that these employees have to do is submit a self-declaration claiming non/involvement in any vigilance inquiry or FIR. Besides this, the vigilance bureau will give the government a list of those employees involved in vigilance inquiries.
