Air India and Indian Airlines’ staff-pilots, engineers and cabin crews would soon receive incomes as per industry standards. The DM Dharmadhikari committee and the Civil Aviation Ministry are done discussing about the changes in pay structure and would be discussing it with the Cabinet Committee of Economic Affairs. As per Dharmadhikari Panel’s guidelines, Productivity Linked Incentives were abolished in the previous year. The pay gap between Air India and Indian Airlines staff would be eliminated and when the liner would start making profits, Productivity Related Pay would be given. Many other allowances are going to be entitled to the staff.
